Downtown Garage Construction Resumes, Residents Unhappy

After a long delay due to COVID-19, workers have begun construction at City Center parking garage once again. The structure is estimated to cost nearly 20 million dollars and will have paid parking places available for drivers in the city. The project remains controversial as some residents say the money would be better spent on improving public transportation and creating a more equitable transit system.
